What is the value of international programs/students?

International programs/students have many advantages to the city/country that offers them. Offering international programs attracts international students. International students can become part of a international network which would include the locals of that area. With an influx of internationals comes a sharing of each others cultures and ideas, this exposure to each others cultures brings awareness to cultural differences and teaches us how we can better communicate and get along with one another. By joining an international program we are getting ready to work in a international environment. This teaches us to think globally. By this we mean thinking about working and doing business on a global scale. Doing business on a global scale, will require us to acquire different language skills other than the one we grew up speaking at home
