Why is it important to study ICC?

We are at the beginning of our study path in International Sport Management (ISPM), an international bachelor's degree, which implies being able to behave in an international and dynamic learning environment. Through the study of the ICC course we'll be able to communicate in an efficient way with people from other countries, who have different cultures, values ​​and backgrounds.

To avoid stereotypes and misunderstandings that can lead to forms of involuntary disrespect, it is important to understand each other and where we come from. This will lead to a more effective and pleasant collaboration into international teamwork. The importance of understanding each other cultures comes to light in the this course as we will be working together in groups where most of us come from different cultures. 

To conclude, studying Intercultural Communication is important for the capacities that we are going to gain, that will lead us to become skillful international sport managers. Capable of creating healthy international connections with people from all over the world that we are going to meet in our future career in the sport industry.
